Descriptions:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief People Officer is responsible to lead People Division of CHID Bank and perform the following duties and responsibilities;
1) Strategic Alignment
· Support CEO and contribute in Strategic Business Planning from HR perspective
· Develop and implement Strategic HR Plan in line with Business Plan
2) Talent Management & Development
- Prepare annual HR Plan in line with annual business plan and upon approval from CEO, implement the HR Plan
- Attract and recruit the best talents by improving Employer brand
- Maintain a smooth onboarding process
- Responsible for planning and implementing annual Training programme to improve knowledge and skills of staff members
- Responsible for implementation of Performance Management System
- Propose and implement talent development plan and create talent pipeline for succession planning
3) Reward Management
- Review and improve the existing total reward scheme to be competitive in the labour market
- Ensure the effective monthly payroll management in accordance with payment of wages law
- Ensure the timely disbursement of other benefits and welfare support to employees
- Ensure the occupational safety and health of all employees
4) Compliance
- Advise the CEO on all legal issues related to employment in accordance with Myanmar Labour Laws and Directives from CBM
- Ensure that all HR Policies are in compliance with existing labour laws and Personal Income Tax Laws
4) HR Analytics
- Ensure all HR records are maintained and updated
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly HR Reports and submit regularly to Senior Management
- Contribute HR Analytics in Management Decision Making
5) HR Budget Responsibilities
- Prepare Annual HR Budget Plan
- Monitor and ensure effective utilization of HR Budget
Desired Skills:
- Any University Graduate with HR Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or human resources management or equivalent.
- MBA in HRM or MSc in HRM will be an advantage
- Minimum (10) Years working experience in HR Field and at least 3 years experience in the same role
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
- Experience in educating and coaching staff
- Good Understanding in Myanmar Labour Laws
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
