Under the supervision of the Ministry of Construction, the Construction and Housing Development Bank, upon receiving the company registration (No. 570/ 2013-2014) dated 8th May 2013 by joint participation of Government and Private. With the permission of the Director ate of investment and Company Administration, the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development, Union of Myanmar , CHDBank was founded as Public Company Limited. The Central Bank of Myanmar issued the banking license No. MaBaBa/ P-31/ (7) 2013 (1) dated 12th July 2013 granting to operate as an investment or Development Banking business. Further more, the Central Bank of Myanmar granted Commercial Bank business license with the letter MaBaBa/ Bank Supervision/ Misc: (165/2014) dated 11th June,2014. According to 2016 Financial Institutions Law Section 176, the licenses issued above were surrendered to Central Bank of Myanmar . On CHD Bank's application letter dated 22nd July, 2016, prepared in accord with Section 11 of 2016 Financial Institutions Law, the new banking license MaBaBa/ PaBa(R) - 21/08/2016 for Commercial Banking business was issued by the Central Bank of Myanmar on 18th Aug, 2016. According to Myanmar Economic Policy, not only housing sector but also public infrastructure such as electrical power, roads and bridges and social infrastructure development are included for financial support by our bank and as such we added infrastructure in our bank original name CHD Bank and it has been renamed CHID Bank on 17.06.2018
What do we do?
To realize the potential for financial resources towards the development of construction, urban and housing sector and to enable the citizens to have a chance to own a house through increasing capital, the integration of the government’s responsibility public’s deposits and shares.
To Facilitate the socio-economic life and upgrade the quality of living of the citizens by developing urban and housing sector to meet international standards and offering modernity and pleasantness.
For all people to gain and sustain to live in peace and dignity with happiness and joy.
1. To aggregate and facilicate potential financial (capital) investment, necessary to develop construction and housing sector, from both local and international, banks and financial institutions;
2. To support the construction loans, housing loans and Mortgage, by providing short-term, mid-term and long-term loans;
3. To implement plans for increasing number of public's Deposits;
4. To support to increase the amount of financial resources to broaden the international trading;
